find delight

In Ecclesiastes, the author takes a thoughtful look back over his life and has what I believe is a dismal view.  He considers that there is nothing new, and that nothing can be changed but, I love what it says in chapter 12 vs. 10.
The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth. {acceptable...: Heb. words of delight}
What is your take on your current situation?  Is it dismal at best?
In 2020 there are many things to capture our attention, good and bad.  Constant input…the whole worlds views on every topic.  My goodness, it is overwhelming and depressing.
Maybe a good place to begin our New Year is back to basics…. to search out, to look for, to desire, to find words of truth, words of good report, words of delight, IN God’s Word….
I love you,
Find delight in Gods Word

JOY

Calm down about things that don't matter,

Picking your battles wisely is a life quality that everyone should adopt. Ask your self:      why does this bother me      what will happen if I don't respond      will my opinion change the outcome      can I find a positive way to express the way this makes me I feel       When serious things do happen (and they will) over the top responses will only serve to hurt you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and  you will alienate people after time........... Discipline your thought life!   Don't allow every minor irritation make you irrational! Try focusing on  the positive and meditating on the blessings of God and watch the small problems fade from sight......... Philipians 4:8 Finally, brethren.....whatsoever things that are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
