stressed out

Stress test… this is something that always makes me laugh.  When you have issues with your heart, the doctor gives you a stress test to see how much your heart can take.  TO FUNNY! (and honestly alarming) Every day simple tasks also seem to push my heart to see how much stress I can take. Coming to church should NOT be a stress test!  Worshiping Jesus and connecting with brothers and sisters in Christ should bring rejoicing!  It should make our hearts happy! If doesn’t, why not? That is a serious question…. It is also something we need to evaluate for ourselves.   Where are you in your walk with Jesus?  Does every little thing annoy you and make you stressed?  Maybe something as simple as coming to Jesus with a sincere heart and asking Him to show you what needs to change and changing it, can set your heart on a pathway of peace.   Fellowshipping with one another is a blessing!  Look for an opportunity to be a blessing to someone else’s heart. “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.  In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John

Mandisa - Overcomer (Lyric Video)

Calm down about things that don't matter,

Picking your battles wisely is a life quality that everyone should adopt. Ask your self:      why does this bother me      what will happen if I don't respond      will my opinion change the outcome      can I find a positive way to express the way this makes me I feel       When serious things do happen (and they will) over the top responses will only serve to hurt you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and  you will alienate people after time........... Discipline your thought life!   Don't allow every minor irritation make you irrational! Try focusing on  the positive and meditating on the blessings of God and watch the small problems fade from sight......... Philipians 4:8 Finally, brethren.....whatsoever things that are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
