There are a million ways to get distracted today.

Many of them are ways to satisfy ourselves!  We LOVE to satisfy ourselves.

John the Baptizer had a life souly set aside for the proclaiming of the coming Messiah.

He devoted his life to it.

How much of our lives are truly set aside for proclaiming God's 

glory, His wondrous works, His readiness to answer our prayers....

Lord God, 

Help us to be a people who are thankful and who rejoice in spreading your great name.

We love you so much Lord!
